Former Deputy Justice Minister Under Investigation

The New Brunswick Law Society has released details of a complaint filed against a former deputy justice minister for the province.

Yassin Choukri is accused of misapproriating more than 720 thousand dollars from his clients. The Law Society, on its website, has released details of the 9 charges.

According to the Law Society, if Choukri fails to reply to the complaint then it will be concluded he admits to all the charges. He has not been heard from since last fall.
