If you are awaiting word on whether you’ll be able to hunt for moose in the upcoming season, you’ll now have your answer.
The government of New Brunswick has issued the results of this year’s Moose draw.
Hunters can verify the draw results by calling 1-800-459-3729 or by checking online at the Department of Energy and Resource Development website. When verifying the draw results, applicants require their Outdoors Card number.
Over 60,000 people applied for moose licenses this year, for the just over 4600 licences.
Applications were accepted between May 15 and June 9th.
The season runs from September 26th to 30th.
If you were chosen in the draw, your licence is now available for purchase.
