More than 400 people turned out for a two-day job fair hosted by SMG Canada for a range of positions available at the new Moncton Events Centre.
General manager Nick DeLuco says they are seeking to fill up to 300 part-time positions.
“This was mostly a screening, so from here we’ll bring people in for a second interview and then go from there. As a whole, on the full-time side, we have about 15 full-time staff on board now. So as we get closer to the opening, we’ll look to round out the part-time and a few other full-time positions as well,” he notes.
DeLuco says he was impressed by the applicants noting many had experience and some were part of the Coliseum staff.
