A moose out for a stroll in Riverview this morning, attracted quite a bit of attention.
Officials from the Energy and Resource Department were contacted and spotted the animal in the marshy area between the Petitcodiac River and Coverdale Road.
The police were also called in, and they blocked off Coverdale Road while officials tracked the moose.
It reportedly crossed into a wooded area at around 9am and it hasn’t been seen since.
