Codiac RCMP are investigating an incident that happened in the area of Queen and Robinson streets early Sunday morning.
Cpl. Luc Basque says they received a report around 2:30 a.m. that two women had been hit by a taxi cab, but that turned out not to be the case.
He says it appears one of the women was trying to get into the cab and was grabbed by a passenger as the vehicle was leaving.
Basque says she and another woman who tried to grab onto her both received minor injuries as a result.
He says everyone involved was intoxicated and witnesses are not being very forthcoming with information.
