Crazy Weather Reported In NB On May 23rd

It appears as though Old Man Winter isn’t ready to go into hibernation yet.

He made an appearance in in the northern part of the province yesterday, bringing seven centimetres of snow to bathurst, according to Environment Canada.

Meteorologist Jill Maepea says a cold front tapped into cold air from Labrador and that swept across the region.

In Greater Moncton, our lowest temperature was just above zero.

There were also severe thunderstorms with hail reported in other parts of the province as well.
