Moncton Fire Donates To Help Ill-Equipped Departments In Dominican Republic

The Moncton Fire Department is making a much needed donation to help the people of the Dominican Republic.

They are donating their old bunker gear, which includes 118 jackets and pants, helmets, coveralls and rubber boots, to a program called Lyfe Aid.

That equipment will be used in fire departments in the Dominican Republic that are dealing with a lack of supplies.

Lyfe Aid was created by Sandra and Bob Allaby, who are from Saint John. They fundraise throughout the year to help impoverished children and families.
