Moncton Wildcats Fans To Travel To Fredericton For Game Five

The Moncton Wildcats are heading to game five against the Armada.

Due to a conflict at the Moncton Coliseum, the teams will be headed to Fredericton to play at the Aitken Centre.

Wildcats Director of Business Operations Ryan Jenner says buses are being organized by the Booster Club for playoff package holders, “They can redeem their game three tickets at the office for tickets in Fredericton. We are also organizing buses that they can jump on Friday to head to Fredericton.”

Playoff package holders have until 5:00 p.m. today to confirm if they would like a seat, and you will need a ticket for the game at the Aitken Centre to get on the bus.

Jenner says the support from the fans makes a big difference for the team, “Last night, at game four, was electric at the Coliseum. The fans were behind the team big time and the players feed off of that. Certainly you always want to play at home, that is why they call it home ice advantage, but we are still in our home province, so there is an element there and we will have a lot of Wildcat fans. They are almost like the seventh player that helps the team to push through and win those battles.”

The Aitken Centre holds under 3300 spectators.

Buses will leave the Coliseum between 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. tomorrow.

They will also have a second stop at the Salisbury Big Stop to pick up playoff package holders, but this must be clearly requested when you call.

To reserve your seat, call Nan at Booster Club (384-1198) or Eric at the Wildcats Office at (858-2233)
