U de M Students Seek More Mental Health Services On Campus

Students at the Universite de Moncton are seeking more mental health services on campus.

Tristan Gaudet, president of the U de M Student Federation, says many students are struggling with life pressure from friends, family and their studies and he believes more support is needed.

“More financial help from maybe the government or from whoever else that’s going to treat the growing need for mental health services on campus,” he notes.

Gaudet notes how there are roughly 60 people on the waiting list right now just to see a psychologist.
