An annual move to protect roads is going into effect this coming Sunday in southern New Brunswick.
Seasonal weight restrictions for the trucking industry in the southern part of the province will continue until midnight on May 13, but those dates are subject to change depending on the weather.
Transportation and Infrastructure minister Bill Fraser says in a release that the weight limits are put in place to make sure roads aren’t damaged during the frost and thaw cycle.
