Higgs Calls Fixing Province A Joint Effort

Blaine Higgs is now the premier-designate and he spoke about his meeting with the lieutenant governor.

Higgs says they discussed the challenges facing New Brunswick.

“I said I was humbled by this experience, I’m humbled by the outcome of the election and the fact that I am standing here before you right now. It’s going to be a joint effort not only in the Legislature.” Higgs said.

“The elections results have provided a very unique opportunity in time for New Brunswick to be better.”

Higgs says he expects the throne speech may take place sometime around November 20th.
