NB Businesses Have Hit The Pause Button

The business community in New Brunswick has hit the pause button in recent weeks with political drama unfolding in Fredericton.

Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton CEO John Wishart says hopefully the situation will stabilize with an incoming Progressive Conservative government.

“The one thing that business dreads is uncertainty and there has been a lot of uncertainty provincially. I think things are good municipally… and federally we have some good representation,” he notes.

Once the political climate calms down, Wishart says businesses will hopefully make investments in their companies and in their people again.
