Jury selection is scheduled to resume Monday morning for the Dennis Oland retrial.
Oland was previously charged in the 2011 death of his father, Richard.
He was convicted in December of 2015 but the New Brunswick Court of Appeal overturned the conviction in October of 2016 and ordered a new trial.
Hundreds of people turned up at Harbour Station two weeks ago for the start of jury selection.
The new trial is expected to last 65 days.
