For the first time, more than one member of the provincial Green party is reacting to a Throne speech.
Newly-elected Memramcook-Tantramar MLA Megan Mitton says they will need time to read it and think about it.
“It’s a question of confidence, obviously there are things in there that line up with Green values but we need to look at how realistic it is and some of the things were kind of vague.” Mitton said.
Leader David Coon was asked if the caucus will vote as one or individually on the Throne speech and he responded saying we’ll have to wait and see calling it an exciting time in politics not seen since the Richard Hatfield era.
