This historic day in Canada was also a big day for Organigram. They hold the license with Health Canada as a Marijuana Producer, and they supply the Cannabis NB stores and website with product.
Chief Commercial Officer Ray Gracewood says they have several brand names associated with their products,” You go into a Cannabis NB store or on the website, you’ll notice a whole selection of different strains and products that carry the Edison name. We also have another brand called Trail Blazer and we are quickly developing our Ankr Organics brand, and we hope to have that out in early 2019.”

Gracewood says it is an incredible feeling knowing that October 17th has finally arrived.
“It feels incredible to see the product on the shelf. To see consumers leave the stores with our product with smiles on their faces, is really a special feeling.”
He adds their expansion isn’t over yet though, “About a year ago, we were just over 60 employees, and as of this week, we now employee 435 people in Moncton. Our expectation is that in March or April, we will be doing another group hiring of approximately 200 more people.”
