The Canadian Federation of Independent Business is hailing the provincial government’s efforts to reduce red tape as a positive step.
Spokesperson Louis-Philippe Gauthier says government passed a new act that forces them to evaluate the cost burden of new rules and regulations.
“The government is seeking, for the past week, feedback from the business community on certain services that it offers so that they can identify where are the frustrations or the issues in communication or in process to make it easier for business to transact with government,” says Gauthier.
Gauthier says the work is ongoing, and they are closely following the progress the government is making.
