As everyone gets settled into 2017, Dieppe Mayor Yvon Lapierre is taking a look back at 2016.
He says it was a very big year for building permits, “We will be pushing close to $90 million worth of building permits for 2016, which is an absolute record by far for the City of Dieppe. We are very happy with this outcome.”
Lapierre says it was also a big year for construction on Champlain Street, which was much needed.
He says they’re also proud of the renaming of the airport to the Greater Moncton Romeo Leblanc International Airport..
