It was an unfortunate ending to 2016 for a man and woman who were forced out of their Lutz Street apartment due to a fire.
That kitchen fire broke out on Friday night in one unit of a four unit apartment building at 309 Lutz Street.
Moncton Fire was met with heavy smoke throughout the apartment.
A man and woman are now staying with relatives. The Canadian Red Cross assisted with food, clothing and bedding.
