The concept of urban living is behind the new 5-5 Queen complex in downtown Moncton which the developer believes is something new not only for the city but for the region.
Bill Hennessey says the condominium-brewpub-hotel development could transform the downtown once it is completed in the fall of 2018.
“What we are discovering is that there is a clientele in Greater Moncton that are approaching us saying this is what I’ve been looking for. We’re excited for you to start because we want to live downtown,” he notes.
Hennessey says prospective condo buyers are telling him they want to live steps away from the farmers market, restaurants, festivals and nightlife.
Construction on the 8-storey building behind Moncton City Hall is expected to start next spring.
