Seven New Brunswick Artists Representing The Province At La Francophonie Games

New Brunswick is sending seven young artists to represent the province in the cultural competition of the 8th Games of La Francophonie.

Team Canada – New Brunswick will be represented by the following artists:

  • Émilie-Grace Lavoie (sculpture – installation)
  • Raphaël Butler (song)
  • Stéphanie David (storytelling)
  • Gabriel Robichaud (literature)
  • Annie-France Noël (photography)
  • Deanna Musgrave (painting)
  • Alisa Arsenault (digital creation)
The artists present their work in a competitive setting while also taking part in workshops and idea exchanges with other artists.
Tourism, Heritage and Culture Minister John Ames says this is a great opportunity for the young New Brunswickers to perform on an international stage.
This year, La Francophonie Games are taking place in Abidjan, in the West African country of Cote d’Ivoire.
The Games will be in New Brunswick for 2021.
