Air Miles collectors got an early Christmas present from the popular reward program late this afternoon.
Air Miles announced that their plan to cancel Reward Miles that reached a arbitrary expiry date has itself been cancelled. The news was released to members by the Air Miles Home Page.
Reward Miles holders had been scrambling to meet a December 31 deadline to use up reward points, but can now breath easy.
The Air Miles reward program launched in 1992 and has more than 11 million active collector accounts.
