Dieppe-based Malley Industries has earned a top innovation award from EMS World for its Crossover Ambulance.
The company is the first in North America to unveil a Euro-style van which has stood out for its design, safety, ergonomics and weight reduction resulting in lower operating costs.
President and CEO Terry Malley says the recognition is significant as the company continues to expand into the American market following the delivery of its first U.S. crossover ambulance in Massachusetts in June 2015.
The company says U.S. sales are expected to exceed Canadian sales in 2017 for the first time in its 37-year history.
Malley Industries has been a vehicle supplier for Ambulance New Brunswick and also manufactures wheelchair accessible vehicles, plastic products and specialized commercial fleets.
