Horror has once again struck France.
Those words from French President Francois Hollande following another terrorist attack.
This one happened in Nice when a truck plowed into throngs of people who were celebrating Bastille Day. The death toll has risen to 84 with several others critically injured. Fireworks had just ended when the attack took place.
Hollande says children are among the dead. A child’s doll was seen on the street beside one body.
It’s being reported the gunman fired shots into the crowd as well before being shot and killed by French police. Identity documents were found inside the truck belonging to a 31 year old French Tunisian man who was known to police.
Pro ISIS groups have been celebrating the attack on social media.
