Another development in an unusual case of theft in northern New Brunswick.
RCMP say the transport truck cab that was used to steal a trailer full of frozen lobster meat in Grand-Anse was itself stolen. It was last seen parked at a business in the Caraquet Industrial Park last Thursday. After coming back after the long weekend the business owners noticed it was gone.
Surveillance tape shows the vehicle going west on Boulevard Saint-Pierre West in Caraquet on Canada Day night around 9:15 as people were gathered for the fireworks. Around an hour later it was caught on video at a lobster processing plant where it hooked onto the trailer and took off towards Bathurst.
