Developers spent a few years putting all of the pieces together before announcing construction plans for a new condo-hotel project in downtown Moncton.
It’s no coincidence the so-called Five-Five Queen project will start just months after work began on the city’s new downtown centre.
Developer Bill Hennessey says the Downing Street reconstruction project has also been a factor in the timing of their plans.
He believes the timing is right for those two projects and their own project which includes a boutique hotel.
Hennessey believes the city is on the move and he looks forward to putting shovels in the ground for the new Five-Five Queen project later this summer.
