Canada Dropping Visa Requirement For Mexican Visitors

The Trudeau government is dropping the visa requirement for Mexican travellers to Canada as of the beginning of December and Mexico, meantime, has decided to lift restrictions on Canadian beef.

This comes during a state visit to Canada by the Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and comes ahead of the Three Amigos summit with Justin Trudeau, Nieto and U.S. president Barack Obama in Ottawa on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Trudeau tweeted that growing their partnership with Mexico is a priority and thanked the Mexican president for today’s productive meeting.
