Standard and Poor’s expects the province to be on track to balance its books by 2021 but there’s a long way to go.
The 2015-2016 budget deficit is now projected to be more than 466 million dollars which is 13 million dollars higher than previously forecast.
The projected deficit for 2016-2017 is 347 million dollars according to Finance Minister Cathy Rogers.
