Codiac RCMP say a body recovered from the Petitcodiac River yesterday has been identified as a Riverview man who had been recently reported missing.
The 21-year-old man was reported missing by his family and was last seen at his home on June 13th.
Numerous 911 calls came in late yesterday afternoon about reports of a body seen floating down the river.
Mounties and firefighters recovered the body from the river behind the Byron Dobson Arena in Riverview.
Foul play is not suspected.
Police have not released the man’s name.
