Moncton’s historic Castle Manor is a unique building to say the least and the developer says that’s what has made the conversion to condominiums so challenging.
Jay Tse notes since things like doors and windows are not standard-size so they must be custom-made which has often led to delays.
Tse notes a 1,000 square foot model suite on the first floor should be open soon.
He says many potential condo buyers have been asking for one.
Tse notes he asked an artist to paint a mural on a side of the building which he knew would be difficult to restore.
He believes it adds an exciting design element by merging the old and the new.
