A young girl is very lucky after finding herself lost in the woods for almost two hours on the weekend.
RCMP say the nine-year-old girl wandered away from her home in Indian Mountain on Saturday evening while her parents were outside doing some gardening.
After being unable to find her, the parents called the Mounties who brought in a police dog.
The canine eventually located the girl in a swampy area about 4 kilometres from her home.
Paramedics checked out the girl and she was safely returned to her parents.
