The final report of the Bilingualism in Moncton Committee was presented to City Council last night.
Several ideas were presented in their action plan, including providing support and guidance to community groups to provide better services in both linguistic communities, offering an information kit to help event organizers, to understand the bilingual makeup of Greater Moncton, and also creating a campaign to promote the value of both linguistic groups.
Co Chair Paulette Theriault says this will help to build upon the progress already achieved in our community.
The Bilingualism in Moncton committee was formed in 2013 and included eight members.
