100 Women Who Care of Greater Moncton is expected to top $100,000 in charitable donations for the community at their next meeting.
Co-founder Jenna Cann says charities are chosen at random and each woman is expected to donate $100.
“Every meeting, three charities come and they speak and share how they support the Greater Moncton community and how they service the people in this community,” she notes.
After each charity makes a presentation to the group, Cann says the women vote to choose which charity to support.
100 Women Who Care of Greater Moncton meets four times a year and they are always seeking more women to join.
Their upcoming 11th meeting will be held Tuesday, April 5 at Chateau Moncton starting at 5pm for a meet and greet.
