A string of recent robberies in Metro Moncton could be linked and one suspect could be responsible according to Codiac RCMP.
The latest robbery happened on Sunday night at Pizza Twins on Elmwood Drive – the same restaurant where a similar robbery occurred last Tuesday night.
Staff Sergeant Maurice Comeau says fortunately no one has been hurt during the recent robbery spree.
“The clerks and employees of these stores have so far been cooperating with these robbers and that’s what we encourage them to keep doing. We don’t want anyone getting hurt,” he notes.
Comeau says if anyone sees anything suspicious around a business, they should call RCMP right away so officers can check it out.
Mounties believe the same suspect could be responsible for as many as six recent robberies in Metro Moncton.
