A Moncton couple felt there was a need for a place where families could go for entertainment, and that’s when the idea of Crystal Mountain Party Palace was born.
The new party centre on St. George Boulevard opened at the end of last month.
Owner and Operator Jennifer Burns says they offer a variety of activities, “We have an indoor laser tag arena,a virtual golf simulator, redemption arcade games and a big prize counter. We are als opening up three big party rooms.”
Burns says she came up with the idea with her husband in January of last year, months after Crystal Palace had closed, “I was looking for place for a party for my son. We coudn’t find something for his age group to do. With the loss of Crystal Palace, we really don’t have a family entertainment facility.”
She says business is booming so far, with many people trying the centre out for the first time this past week during March break.
Burns wants to become a big part of the community for the future, “Gearing towards the summer, we’re looking a doing a lot of charity events for the community. We’re going to be out there and doing things to keep our name out there. I fully believe, one hundred per cent, what you put out into the community, you’re going to get back.”
