Support for the New Brunswick Liberals is slumping according to a new poll from Corporate Research Associates.
They are still the most popular party in the province, but dropped 10 points to 45% support since November.
The Progressive Conservatives trail up two points at 27% support, while the NDP saw the biggest increase at 6 points up to 18%.
The Green Party support was relatively stable up 1 point to 8% and the People’s Alliance of New Brunswick ticked up to 2%.
43% of New Brunswickers said they were satisfied with the provincial government, down 10% from three months ago.
Half are dissatisfied, up from 36%.
In that same poll, Liberal Leader Brian Gallant’s personal popularity dropped 9 points to 30%.
PC interim leader Bruce Fitch gained 6% to 19% while NDP Leader Dominic Cardy is preferred by 10%, a 2 point increase.
1 in 10 New Brunswickers also preferred Green Party Leader David Coon, marking a 1% increase.
People’s Alliance Party Leader Kris Austin slipped one point to 2% preference.
The poll results are based on a sample of 764 adult New Brunswickers reached by phone between February 10th, and March 2nd.
