A Specific Study Can Help The HDC Track Progress and Change

A very specific study on homelessness in four New Brunswick centres will help the Human Development Council track change and measure progress over time.

The 24 hour counts took place between February 19th and 22nd in Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John and Bathurst.

Trained volunteers conducted a survey of the people in each city who were living in shelters, transitional housing, and sleeping rough which means without shelter.

The highest numbers were in Moncton at 77 followed by Saint John at 60, Fredericton with 50 and Bathurst had the lowest number at 13.
