Another specific request for items needed for the Syrian refugees in Greater Moncton.
Parks and Leisure Services through the City of Moncton is holding a sports equipment drive.
They’re accepting new or gently used equipment that will be given to the refugee youth.
They can be dropped at the Crossman Community Centre/Kay Arena on Wynwood Drive until March 6th.
What is required:
o Soccer cleats, chin guards, soccer socks, shorts
o bathing suits (new) and bathing caps
o Refillable bottles
o Indoor running shoes
o Ballet shoes, tights and leotard
315 Syrian refugees are now calling Moncton home.
