Trial Date Changed For Man Accused In Connection With Campbellton Deaths

The trial dates for a man accused in connection with the deaths of two Campbellton boys have been rescheduled.

RCMP says the judge and jury trial has now been moved to October 31st through November 11th.

Jean-Claude Savoie was original expected to stand trial from September 12th to the 23rd.

Four year old Noah Barthe and his six year old brother Connor died in August of 2013 after they were strangled by an African rock python. They were sleeping in an apartment located above an exotic pet store that Savoie owned.

Savoie is charged with one count of criminal negligence.
