Metro Moncton Is Now Home To Almost 250 Syrian Refugees

By the end of this month, the City of Moncton will have welcomed 250 Syrian refugees.

Families began arriving at the end of December and more than 60 Syrian children have started school in the region.

More household items are being sought for the families and anyone with donations can drop them off in the Caledonia Park at 50 MacNaughton Avenue until Sunday at 5-pm.

More volunteers are also being sought to help the Syrians get settled in Metro Moncton.

If you want to help out, contact the Volunteer Centre of Southeastern New Brunswick, HERE.
