Taste Of Spring In Metro Moncton

It feels like spring in Metro Moncton today… but alas it will be short-lived!

Environment Canada meteorologist Claude Cote says the warmth is due in part to the wind direction.

“Every time we get south or southwesterly winds, it allows for mild, continental air from the New England states to drfit across New Brunswick,” Cote notes.

Metro Moncton did reach 11 degrees earlier today which was just shy of the record of 12.2 degrees from 1951.

Temperatures will get colder tonight and tomorrow but another mild spell is expected Thursday.
