The Moncton Miracles are striving to have the home court advantage in terms of their ownership.
The National Basketball League currently holds the team but community investors are being sought to bring the ownership home.
President Steve Trueman says four investors have already been found and interviews with a few more will take place soon.
“I’m cautiously optimistic that the team can be transferred from the league to local ownership by the end of the season,” he notes.
Trueman adds the search for investors seems to have boosted the team’s momentum with more fans and more wins recently.
