Volunteers are needed for Harvest House Moncton.
The centre includes an emergency shelter, step up housing, a nine month addiction recovery program for men and several other programs to help them get back onto their feet.
Shelter Manager Danny Gallant says they need about 80 volunteers per week, to prepare and serve meals and coffee, organizing donations and cleaning.
He says sometimes a volunteer will come in and make a suggestion on how they can help.
Gallant says if you are unable to volunteer, they are always in need of donations as well. Right now, they are in desperate need of men’s clothing, including winter boots and sneakers.
