While many people are grumbling over the snow, Poley Mountain’s General Manager is thrilled.
Bill Anderson says they officially opened this week and had a great crowd of visitors on their first day.
“People came picking up their season pass, buying stuff from the retail shop, and just enjoying the day out on the slopes,” says Anderson. “We only had a couple trails open but now with the storm and we made snow last night.”
Anderson says they hope to have more runs open by this weekend.
He adds the feedback about the new lodge has been very positive so far.
