More people from Metro Moncton will receive the assistance they need thanks to the Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre.
The centre that is currently located Shediac, is expanding into Moncton.
Executive Director Kristal Leblanc says since 2008, they’ve seen a steady increase in clients, especially ones from the Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe area.
She says, “We wanted to offer a satellite office so that if we are able to accomodate people who are unable to come out to our main Shediac location, that they would be better access our mental health services.”
This expansion is thanks to a partnership with the Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women, that gives them the finances to secure an office in Moncton.
The centre deals with several issues including domestic violence to anxiety, depression, and abuse.
