Wild Lights Display At Magnetic Hill Zoo Postponed Until Friday

The Magnetic Hill Zoo is going to be full of lights for a new show this month.

Manager Bruce Dougan says if the weather cooperates the show kicks off today with all sorts of light themed decorations.

Dougan says there is a 3D tiger, a bonfire, two shows, and decorated buildings.

“They can expect to see lots of lights, a lot of animal shaped lights, and there’s going to be some live animals available for viewing, the lions and tigers etc and then all of the indoor buildings will be open,” says Dougan.

He hopes this will prove to be the first of many years of this new event.

If the snow prevents the launch, the show will start tomorrow instead.

You’re being invited to come see the Magnetic Hill Zoo in a new light this month.

The new event Wild Lights kicks off was supposed to kick off today, but they’ve postponed it until Friday, due to the snowy forecast.

Zoo Manager Bruce Dougan says there are thousands of lights, some in the shape of animals, as well as live animals on display.

He says, “We called it Wild Lights, because we are a Zoo, we have a lot of wild animals and we wanted to theme it in that way.”

The lights, and the animals, will have two shows, and all the buildings will be open to visitors.
