Heavy Snowfall Expected In Southeastern New Brunswick Tonight

Old Man Winter will make his first hit on Southeastern New Brunswick tonight.

But if you have flashbacks to last year’s winter, tonight’s snowfall won’t be too bad.

We are under a snowfall warning this morning.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Darin Borgel says you won’t need the shovels until later tonight, “In the Southeastern New Brunswick region, it is probably going to turn to snow late afternoon or early this evening. It is going to snow pretty hard, pretty steadily this evening and overnight and then gradually pull away from the region early tomorrow morning.”

He says we’ll see high winds as well, causing some blowing snow. By the time it’s all over, he expects we’ll see about 15 centimetres on the ground in the Moncton area..
