In Acadie Bathurst, Serge Cormier beat out NDP Jason Godin. This has been an NDP riding since 1997, represented by Yvon Godin, he retired this year, and his son Jason Godin ran in his place.
In Fundy-Royal Alaina Lockhart becomes the first female MP in that riding. She beat out longtime Conservative Rob Moore, who had held the role since 2004.
In Fredericton, Matt DeCourcey beat out Conservative Keith Ashfield.
In Saint John-Rothesay, Wayne Long beat out Conservative Rodney Weston.
In Miramichi-Grand Lake, Pat Finnegan won the race..beating out Conservative Tilly O’Neill Gordon
