The Liberal momentum spread across Prince Edward Island as well.
It was certainly an easy win for Liberal Wayne Easter who held onto his seat in the riding of Malpeque, taking 62.1 per cent of the vote there, but many Islanders were shocked with a win by Liberal Bobby Morrissey who unseated Conservative Gail Shea in the riding of Egmont.
Liberal Laurence MacAuley also held onto his Cardigan riding.
And Liberal Sean Casey took the win in Charlottetown.
