Spokesperson for YWCA Moncton Marissa Paccini says you’ll witness the 8th annual Walk a Mile In Her Shoes event that involves a large group of men and women, in high heels, and a few with fuzzy slippers instead.
It’s held during the YWCA Week Without Violence during the third week of October.
The event raises money for awareness against gender violence.
Last minute walkers are welcome today at the Crowne Plaza at 11 am. Bring your $25 registration fee and pledges.
