A 43 year old man is facing several charges after being arrested by the RCMP in connection with a kidnapping on October 5th.
A 62 year old man sustained just minor injuries from his ordeal.
Gilbert Thériault of the Drummond Local Service District was nabbed in Plaster Rock after a Canada-wide warrant had been issued for his arrest.
Theriault has been charged with using a firearm to kidnap the man, use of a firearm in the commission of an offence, uttering a death threat, injuring the victim’s dog and extortion.
